I made this sign & took it to the community meal at St.Marks Church. I had 3 people requesting hugs 🤗

A good friend picked me up for dinner recently. When I was brought back to my place, discovered I had locked myself out of my house. During the 3 hour debacle of trying to get a locksmith out to my place after hours, my friend stayed the whole time! Providing me support and more importantly, an air conditioned vehicle while I waited! A superb act of kindness!

Sitting in my car at the grocery, I overheard a woman ask another woman," Can I take your cart back for you ? The other woman said " Oh, thank you.. I just had foot surgery and each step kills me ". The first woman said "Can I pray with you ?" and they both hugged and prayed. When I left, they were still talking and praying.

I smoked pork chops and chicken wings and blessed my sister with a meal.

I blessed 7 staff members with McDonalds chocolate chip cookies at the Walmart Pharmacy.

I was at the DG in Cridersville. A gentleman with his daughter was in front of me purchasing a few groceries. He tried to pay but came up short. He had the cashier take the milk off. I felt really bad that milk had to be taken off. He and his daughter left on foot headed home on the storm and pouring rain. I told the cashier to add it to my bill. I got in my car and headed down Main St. I fortunately was able to find them a few blocks away just as they were ready to go in their house. I rolled down my window and handed him the milk. He was surprised and said "God bless you". You did, Mr. He did.

Last week, during a trip to the Vatican Museum, the real feel heat index was 108F and to help offset the heat effects, the Vatican laid out stacks of free bottles of water to assist the hydration of visitors along the museum route. Our tour guide Alissa, who has been doing this for years, mentioned it is the first time she ever remembers such an act of kindness has been done. I list 150 acts, for that is an approximation of the # of people that I saw partake of the free water but the actual # is likely higher. As one of the grateful recipients, I appreciated the Vatican's gesture for it was a hot one in Rome during this inside look at some of the world's most impressive and important works of art.

I was in McDonalds eating breakfast. I saw a woman, who could have been someone’s grandmother, sitting in a corner with all her belongings. I asked her if she was homeless and she replied, “yes”. I gave her money so she could have a meal that day.

The third annual All Abilities Kayaking event was held the last two days, with over 110 people coming to Ottawa Metro Park to enjoy kayaking, fishing, karaoke, the JAPD Beetle Van, bingo and more. We are incredibly grateful to Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District for continuing to partner with the Board to bring this experience to all people. They are true advocates in the community making outdoor spaces accessible and inclusive for all 💙 A special thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make these days happen!

St.Mark's Church has a food pantry that has served 1108 families with food this year to date. Truly a blessing to the community of Lima, as they continue to spread God's grace . Kindness in action from St.Marks Lima, Ohio

My boyfriend has been super helpful while I recover from having 4 wisdom teeth removed. Made good (nonsolid) food, watered the plants for me every day, did all the research on what you can and can't do after the procedure. And he kept the ice cream stocked of course!

My son m, Carter, is 11. He helped wash down tables, carried things outside, wiped down things that have been stored and needed a good cleaning, and made signs for a community share sale to “Take what you need, pay what you can.” He was skeptical about leaving the cash box outside unattended, using only an honor system, but he was so proud that no one had taken it that he was in his own bedroom looking for things to put outside to bless kids that come with their families. Kindness is contagious.

While staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Columbus, Ohio , the parking garage was slammed with a lot of people arriving for the Red,White and Boom fireworks show. It was extremely hot and they were definitely understaffed. While several of us waited while they were shuffling around, the front desk brought us all ice water from their store. It made the wait a little more bearable. Thanks , kind lady !

I took my friend to Cheddars for her birthday dinner. We had a wonderful waitress named Lorelia. We told her how wonderful she was & gave her a great review. We also had her send over the Manager so we could tell her how much we appreciate the excellent service.

My friend and I stopped at Dietsch’s in Findlay for some chocolate covered pretzels. We were in line and started talking to a couple behind us. He had a really neat and colorful Hawaiian shirt on and a happy birthday pendant. We told him happy birthday and complimented him on his shirt.

I saw a gentleman standing with a sign in need at the I75 exit ramp and handed him a Blessing Bag. I told him what all was in the bag and told him God Bless. He smiled and Thanked me!

Act of Kindness Alert Social Media Week Lima. The last speaker of Day 1, Sabine Kvenberg, offered a free book to whoever wanted to go to the stage and grab it. (Reward for "taking action"... metaphor). 2 people actually headed toward the stage. Needless to say, the first one to the stage got it. Moments later, the creator of the event as well as the founder of NOW Marketing Group , Jessika Suter came to the stage for closing comments. She presented the 2nd person who had wanted the book too, a copy that she personally bought from the author. Why ? That is who Jessika is, a kind person who will always seize the opportunity to do good things for others.

We smoked a bag of Chicken quarters and prayed about who we could bless with 9 extra dinners and they were all well received.

Ate dinner at the new Lost Creek Country Club, the other night. The trainee as waitress, was obviously nervous, but when we told her to relax, we understood she is being trained , you could see her breathe and smile. A little courtesy and understanding made her feel better. To top it off, she did a wonderful job !

A young lady who works at Texas Roadhouse had her hair in long braids and I told her how pretty it was! 😍
