281 reasons to smile! 🛶
Last Saturday, Marie hosted a Trash Warriors River Float on the beautiful Auglaize River, and what an incredible day it was!
Together, Marie, Zach, Jaina, and Jordan removed 281 pieces of trash from the river. That's 281 pieces of litter that will no longer threaten wildlife, pollute the water, or spoil one of our community's greatest natural resources. It wasn't an easy job, but every bottle, can, wrapper, and piece of debris collected makes a real difference for the plants, animals, and people who enjoy the river. A huge thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves (and paddled their kayaks!) to help protect this special place. Conservation happens one small action at a time, and together, those actions add up.
And next time you're out enjoying the parks or paddling the river, remember: Leave it even better than you found it.
