I picked up trash at the Walmart gas station.

Restoration House of Lima was set up outside Walmart East selling items. I told them I didn’t want to buy anything and gave them $20 towards the ministry they do in the Lima Community! ❤

The Mobile Hope Food pantry at Shawnee UMC was blessed with beautiful weather and 33 servants as we served 143 local families this morning. A huge thanks to our congregation for the support & to our grant from P&G for helping us to supplement today!

Hundreds of local veterans and their families gathered Saturday for the fifth annual Allen County Veterans Family Picnic, an event designed to celebrate military service while connecting attendees with resources available throughout the county. Hosted by the Allen County Veterans Services Commission, the picnic featured free meals, raffles, family-friendly activities and opportunities for veterans to learn about programs and services available to them.

Today at church, we had some new children attend. After the singing, kids are released from main service to go with the other kids and attend story hour. When this time came, you could see these new kids were shy and stayed in the main service. Some of the other kids noticed these new kids and came back and invited them to join. The new kids smiled and took off running with their new found friends. Quite touching !

Our pool had a a leak in the hose the neighbor (John Battles)came over seeing we had a problem fixing it he took the time to see if he had a fitting that would fix it it did help fix our leak working great now !!!!

My neighbor call me to the fence today with a Mother’s Day gift. He had made no bake chocolate almond cookies!!! He truly makes the BEST!!! Such a nice gift made my day.

Midway through his address, Kochhar announced that to honor his father's journey, he and his wife were providing a graduation gift to completely cover all final-year education loans incurred by the graduates during the 2025–2026 academic year. I saw Tommie Harner the CEO at the West Ohio Food Bank walking in Walmart on Sunday and I stopped her and Thanked her for the work they do in the community.

I blessed two ladies who waited on me at The Lima Moose with caramels.

Forest Park UMC cooks & serves the meal every 3rd Saturday of the month to the men at the Lima Rescue Mission. My friend’s small group decided to cook, serve, eat and fellowship with the 29 men on May 16th.

My husbands boss blessed us with meal tickets to support the Wapakoneta Breakfast Optimist Club's ROAST BEEF DINNER FUNDRAISER. We couldn’t use them so we passed the blessing on to 2 of our friends.

I want to give a big shout out to Lima Memorial Hospital and Dr Pohl, his crew, and all the hospital staff were amazing. I give thanks for all their outstanding work and kindness to me and my family that was there with me!

Had to call into an online company to handle a billing issue. Was sorta expecting a contentious discussion, but instead, had a very pleasant discussion and resolution. Thanks to the courteous and funny customer service rep for handling the issue with humor and consideration. Made both of our days

I ordered breakfast at McDonalds on my mobile app and ended up mistakenly ordering more than I wanted. The extra breakfast sandwiches & hash browns went to my 2 co-workers.

While standing in the check out line at the grocery store this evening, a woman in front of me went over her budget for her groceries. She started to apologize to the clerk and myself. She was very embarrassed that she did not have enough money in her account. She started to take items off her bill. I offered to pay for the remaining balance of her groceries. She was very grateful and still embarrassed. I reassured her we have all had rough times and I am just paying it forward.
