Witnessed a young mother in a check-out line with her new baby. I didn’t realize until she walked out the door that she had to leave the baby formula at the store counter because she lacked the funds for the purchase. I quickly exited the store, as she placed her baby in the vehicle and asked her not to leave until I could get the formula for her. I re-entered the store, purchased the formula and gave it to the mother. It felt so good to be able to help her nourish her infant.
