We did a Teacher Appreciation Day today for 46 teachers in Lima. We created a DIY Trail Mix Bar for their teachers and staff to appreciate all they do!

During the holiday season, we left an extra quarter in the cart at Aldi. Yep, that could have been us !

My kind neighbor got his snowblower out and did 6 of his neighbors sidewalks and driveways. When I asked what do I owe, he said "Nothing, I need the exercise". Great neighbors are a blessing

My boyfriend and I received a really high quality, old-fashioned (as in, they don't make them this sturdy anymore!) table and chair set from a kind older couple who were giving it away for free. It made them so happy to be able to give the table to young first time homeowners instead of selling it.

My good friends and colleagues from Now Marketing sent me a Sugar Wish, to choose a gift of my choice. I chose Hot Pepper Raspberry jam. Sure is tasty on a waffle on a cold winter morning. I appreciate it, so kind !

Today my friends and I celebrated my birthday by serving 30 men at the rescue mission.

One of our "kind" suggestions is to re- connect or check in with people you haven't talked to in while. Here is a photo of the end result of that. Jodi created a group chat and coordinated a fantastic get together of 9 of us who worked closely together many moons ago and some haven't seen others in years. Great stories, laughs and cheer ! We plan to do it again soon. Thanks for making it happen , everyone! #doingA0K

I grabbed a friend, a gingerbread costume, and ran out to the mall. We spent about an hour there waving and taking photos with all the kids we saw. One mom asked us to go to Hero Day to take photos with her son who was having a birthday party. It was a great time spreading holiday cheer!

While in line at the supermarket, I noticed a kind young lady who let not 1, but 2 different people go ahead of her because they only had a couple of things and she had a full cart. Pretty considerate of her. I also noticed the smiles shared and everyone was wishing each other Merry Christmas. A lil kindness changed the mood of everyone around that line. Magic !

West Ohio Food Bank coordinated the cooking, packing , volunteering and distribution of 3,000 Christmas Eve meals to those who were hungry. So inspiring to see people helping people purely out of kindness and that is an ongoing program. We have a caring community!

I just pulled into the local Valvoline to get the oil changed for my wife and when they were done I was waiting to pay when I was told that the person that was in the other bay had already paid for my oil change before he left. He told them to wish me a happy New Year.

This is the GREATEST officer! J. Brooks from Seminole County found Tim's phone- we'd stopped at a park 20 miles before the airport to let Tim stretch his legs. He sat on a park bench and left his phone when he got up. By the time we noticed, we were at the airport, checking in for our flight home. I ran to Avis Car Rental to see if I could check the car we'd just turned in. They gave me the keys back and I ran to the car. The phone was not there. We made it to the TSA area before Tim figured out he had left it on the bench. I was able to locate the name of the park due to Google location services on the bird photo I took for Bethany. I called the sheriff's department and they had a deputy.call me- that would be this great man. HE NOT ONLY FOUND THE PHONE HE GOT

My buddy, Harriet Carter, gave me a Happy Retirement card, writing inside "Thanks for being so kind". Made my WEEK. Also, she donated $50 in my name to the local food bank ! Very nice. Thank you, Harriet 🙂
