Acts of Kindness
A School Coming Together Through Kindness
Waynesfield-Goshen accepted the Doing AOK School Kindness Challenge and spent two weeks encouraging students and staff to make kindness intentional. Led by Tiger Connection, the Tigers logged 1,465 Acts of Kindness.
Shawnee had set the benchmark at 1,704 acts. The Tigers did not quite reach it, but their impact went well beyond the final number.
The Challenge in Action
Small Acts. Big Impact.
Students left encouraging sticky notes on lockers, classroom doors and throughout the school. They helped stack lunch trays, greeted others, helped at home and looked for simple ways to brighten someone’s day.
Daily announcements and school tracking boards kept the excitement going as students watched their kindness add up.
Student-Led Kindness
Thank You, Tiger Connection!
Tiger Connection helped lead the challenge, encouraged classmates to get involved and showed what student leadership can look like.
With support from their advisor, Katie, the students made kindness visible throughout their school. Their work even helped inspire plans for another kindness project after the challenge ended.
Celebration Day
Celebrating the Tigers
Doing AOK visited the school to recognize the students’ hard work, celebrate Tiger Connection and reward the two classes with the highest kindness totals.

The People Behind the Challenge
Making Kindness Count
From the first encouraging note to the final celebration, Waynesfield-Goshen showed how students can build a more connected school community through everyday choices.
Every one of their 1,465 acts brings Doing AOK closer to its goal of one million Acts of Kindness.
